Individuals. Teens. Students. Adults. Older Adults.
Everyone needs someone to talk with from time to time.

Teens

Adolescence is often an overwhelming time. Many teens find it difficult to navigate and understand their feelings, emotions, peers, bodies, impulses, and world. Allowing them the space and safety to discuss their feelings openly and honestly offers the ability to grow, learn and emerge as stronger young adults.

Students

Whether taking one class at a time or a 'full load', staying at home or moving across multiple states, possession of a strong support network or trying to reinvent yourself, life as a student is a difficult one. New situations and experiences present a potential for stress and are compounded with decisions that can effect an individual for years or decades to come. As with any time full of transitions, it is helpful to explore options, situations and experiences with another individual. I offer an environment which allows reflection, exploration, and acceptance.

Adults

As an adult, it is often expected that a person juggle multiple responsibilities, hats, masks and roles at the same time. This can be overwhelming each day, exerbated if an individual is also managing anxiety, depression, guilt, shame and/or insecurities (including food, financial or relationship). Objectively viewing a stressful situation with another individual can be extremely comforting. The involvement of supports in your world and daily interactions can only strengthen you and your voice.  I am able to assist in the creation and enhancement of supports you already have.

Older Adults

One of the hardest transitions an individual makes is becoming an older adult. This can be marked by reaching a specific milestone age, becoming a grandparent or retiring. This transition, though shared among others that also meet this monumental moment, is different for everyone; which is why each experience is unique and should be treated as such as they are not felt nor met the same way. In some cultures elders are seen as a source of wisdom while others are left with a sense of burden. I can asssit you in defining what it means to you and those around you. From there, we can move onto other situations as they present themselves.
